Program in Economics and Business organized in Partnership with the Utrecht School of Economics (USE)
It is a one-year program specifically tailored for Bachelor students, entirely taught in English.
The program is structured as follows: first and third year is carried out in Rome, while the second year is entirely held at the prestigious Utrecht School of Economics.
Academic vision
The program aims at recruiting ambitious, dedicated students and it provides the opportunity to learn and grow in a world-class academic environment.
In addition to teaching basic economic and business principles, the course also offers an introduction to the operation and policies of the main European institutions and the regulatory requirements of the various markets, paying special attention to the topics of competition and antitrust laws.
The course provides solid basic general preparation in the most important economic fields and offers an excellent introduction to pthe fields of business and finance. Students will gain the methodological training they need to understand and analyse economic and financial phenomena, including the acquisition of basic legal concepts. The course also offers an introduction to the operation of the main European political and economic institutions and the regulatory requirements of the various markets, paying special attention to the topics of competition and antitrust laws.
Despite the economic orientation of this course, great importance is ascribed to teaching law, but in an economic context and within the framework of a natural reduction of law credits due to the international scope of the course and the prevalence of “domestic” contents and sources in the main legal teachings of traditional degree courses in economics (public law, private law, commercial law).

Eligibility
Participation to the program is open to all I year students enrolled to the Economic and Business Bachelor program, majoring in “Business Management” or “Economics and Finance”.
35 slots available
Admission Requirements
Applicants have to pass the following exams by the end of the first session:
- Mathematics I
- Intr. to Business Economics 26th
The slots available are assigned on the base of the students GPA (Grade Average Point).
A bonus of 2 points will be added to students which have also passed the exam of Principles of Civil Law.
To formalize their admission to the program, students will also need to pass by the end of the II session of the II semester the exams of Microeconomics and Statistics.

Please note that only applications of students with a regular administrative position and no pending administrative university issues will be considered.
Results
Selection results will be communicated to candidates by LUISS e-mail. A back-up lists will be set up in case the number of candidates will be superior to the slots available.

Students Services and Assistance
Students are supported by the program coordinators throughout all their preparation and stay abroad.
Accommodation
The USE has an agreement with SSH Short Stay, a local housing corporation that offers temporary furnished housing. They reserve a range of furnished accommodation especially for international students and staff of Utrecht University. The University covers the administrative fee if you make use of this offer. However, the number of reserved accommodation is limited.
