How to Reach Erice

Erice may be reached:

  1. BY AIR:
    Palermo "Punta Raisi" airport (60 minutes from Erice) and
    Trapani "Birgi" airport     (35 minutes from Erice).
    Trinacria Express. There is a train connection between Palermo Rail Station and Punta Raisi Airport.
  2. BY TRAIN:
    from Rome to Palermo. It takes twelve to sixteen hours, depending on type of train; then train or bus to Trapani.
    In Trapani rail station take an AST bus to Erice. As you leave the train station, the bus terminal is 100 meters on your left. Afternoon departures to Erice are approximately every hour (every two hours on Sundays). Last bus at 17.30 (17.00 on Sundays).
