Marc Lazar is professor emeritus of Political History and Sociology at Sciences Po and has a BNP-BNL-Paribas Chair "French and Italian Relations in Europe" at Luiss. He is President of the Advisory board of the School of Government of Luiss University. He is also President of the Scientific Committee of the “Dialogues franco-italiens pour l’Europe” organized by Sciences Po and Luiss with the support of Ambrosetti European House. He is senior fellow of different think thanks (Institut Montaigne, Fondation Jean Jaurès, ISPI) and columnist of La Repubblica. He is a specialist of the Left parties in Europe, politics in France and Italy since 1945 and of populisms in Europe. He published many books and articles in international academic journals.
