There are specific calls for applications for exemptions and scholarships. To learn about the requirements, deadlines, how to participate, and how benefits are awarded, please visit the website page. For more information, please write to agevolazionieconomiche@luiss.it.

Each year, the University uses its own funds to provide financial aid (partial or full exemptions), which is typically awarded through a competitive process. The calls for applications and their corresponding online application forms are posted on the following page

Luiss does not offer financial aid based on high school diploma exam grades.

You can still submit your application even if the admission results haven’t been announced yet. If you are not admitted, we will remove your application from the competition.

If you meet the eligibility requirements for multiple competitions, you can submit applications for each. However, if you win more than one competition, you will need to choose only one scholarship.

First-time applicants for a scholarship must click on “Application Form” and complete the Accreditation process to register their personal details. Once the process is complete, you'll see your User Code (which you'll only need for your first login). Next, click on Login. After entering your tax code, password, and User Code, you can access the Application Area and begin filling out the form for the competition you’re interested in.

Unless specifically indicated otherwise, you must meet all the requirements outlined in the competition notices by the application submission deadline.

Luiss does not accept expired DSU or ISEE documents. While you await the results of the Admission Test, we recommend requesting the ISEE certificate from a CAF or your accountant. This certificate is used for benefits related to the right to university education.

Luiss has partnered with Italian banks to offer students flexible and affordable financing, with no need for collateral. For more information, please contact frainaldi@luiss.it or call +39 06 8522 5406.

While awaiting the outcome of your scholarship application, you must pay the first installment of the Single Contribution by the deadlines set by the University. This will be refunded by crediting the student's checking account or prepaid card. The second and third installment payments will be automatically canceled.

The competition notice specifies the installments for which the partial exemption will apply. Typically, the partial exemption applies to the second and third installments, which are recalculated based on the scholarship amount. Therefore, the first installment must be paid by the deadline set by Luiss.

Yes, Luiss offers scholarships to students admitted via GMAT/GRE. For all the details, you can check the competition notices on the following page.

The requirements are outlined in the competition announcement. If the competition notice requires a certain percentage of credits to be earned (for example, 70%), all exams from previous years must be considered, not just those from the last year. The weighted average is shown in the web self-service.

Yes, for the 2025/2026 academic year, Luiss has planned to grant 50 exemptions from the second installment payment to particularly deserving students. Additionally, to encourage international mobility, the University provides grants to final-year master’s students to partially cover the costs of preparing their theses abroad. The announcements and corresponding application forms are posted on the scholarships page of the website.

As decided by the Luiss Academic Senate, students enrolled in a Level I Master’s program—admitted directly to a Master’s degree course—can receive a 50% exemption from the Single Contribution fee for enrollment in the second year of the program. This is contingent upon them earning all the credits required by the curriculum with an average grade of 28/30 or higher by the end of the first year’s summer exam session. The calculation also includes credits from exams taken during the Master's program that are recognized for the Master's degree.

The Financial Aid Office offers a tutoring service to support students. If you need information, you can write to financialaid.tutor@luiss.it. If needed, our tutors will coordinate with university tutors and course tutors to provide you with all the support possible.  Also, remember that Luiss's free psychological support, “Luiss TI ASCOLTA,” is always available.

No. In July, the offices review the merits of all students without the need for specific requests.

Luiss offers full or partial reductions on the annual tuition fee for:

  • students who have been awarded a scholarship by the University;
  • students who have a sibling enrolled at Luiss;
  • students who fall into the eligible categories, as stipulated by current legislation (students with a certified disability percentage of 66% or higher, or children of recipients of a work disability pension);
  • unmarried students with children under the age of 6.

Part-time collaborations

Every summer, Luiss announces a competition to assign part-time positions at the university’s offices. The position, for a maximum of 200 hours, can be held throughout the academic year and is paid at €8.00 per hour. The ranking is based on merit (CFU credits and weighted average), and in the event of a tie, the student with the lowest ISEE takes precedence.

Yes, receiving a scholarship does not preclude the possibility of being assigned paid part-time work.

It is possible to terminate the part-time collaboration early. Compensation will be paid based on the number of hours actually worked and certified.
