Luiss Guido Carli is offering two scholarships for excellence for the 2022–2023 academic year. These are intended for students who, in 2021, attended one of the University’s Summer Schools for fourth-year high school students. The call for applications is funded by Intesa Sanpaolo, one of the University’s main partners. We share with Intesa Sanpaolo the values of social solidarity and trust in the new generations who will be called upon to take on the important task of leading our country in the coming years. Therefore, our shared goal is to make it easier for new first-year students to access the educational opportunities at Luiss by addressing any financial challenges they may face.
The benefit consists of a full exemption from the Single Contribution set by the University for the 2022/2023 academic year, and it cannot be confirmed for subsequent academic years.

Call for applications for two scholarships to study the Bachelor's Degree in Management and Computer Science at Luiss Guido Carli – Academic Year 2021-2022
Luiss, in partnership with INWIT – a leading company in the electronic telecommunications infrastructure sector – is awarding two scholarships to female students who pass the admission test for the first year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Computer Science with a score of at least 65%. The aim is to encourage women to take on the most innovative technical and managerial roles within companies.
The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee and can be confirmed for the full duration of the program.
DiSCo Lazio – Right to Education Call for Applications 2021-2022
Competition for the award of scholarships, housing, cafeteria service, international mobility grants, and graduation prizes.
Luiss grants a full exemption from the Single Contribution payment to those who qualify for the DiSCo Lazio Call for Applications for the Right to Education for the 2021-2022 academic year. While awaiting the selection results, Luiss candidates are required to settle their administrative status by paying the first installment of the Single Contribution. Once the final ranking is published (typically in October), DiSCo Lazio will refund the regional fee for the right to study, while Luiss will refund the first installment.

Paolo Verdicchio, a brilliant Luiss alumnus, was a “disruptive” manager, and these scholarships aim to support precisely those young students who believe that to improve the world and themselves, they need to put disruptive ideas into practice, both in business and in life.
The scholarships provide a partial exemption from the annual Single Contribution, amounting to €6,150 per year, and can be confirmed for the standard duration of the degree program.

“Cultivate a Talent” Competition Notice – Academic Year 2021-2022
To foster solidarity among generations of students and cultivate a deep sense of cultural awareness and social responsibility, Luiss Guido Carli, with financial support from Intesa Sanpaolo, Ferrari, and INWIT, has established a revolving fund. This fund provides financial aid to the most deserving students enrolling in the first year of a Master's degree program.

The Giuseppe Patroni Griffi Onlus Foundation, established in memory of Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, aims to help talented young students embark on professional journeys similar to his, combining both personal and professional qualities. Therefore, the winners of this competition will be fully exempt from paying the Single Contribution due to Luiss Guido Carli, excluding the regional fee for the Right to Education, for the entire standard duration of the master's degree program (two years).

Fulbright Scholarship for Master's Degree Programs at Luiss Guido Carli – Academic Years 2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025
The Commission for Cultural Exchanges between Italy and the United States – Fulbright Commission and Luiss Guido Carli have agreed to establish an agreement for the award of a scholarship for the academic years 2022–2023, 2023–2024, and 2024–2025. The scholarship is reserved for a U.S. citizen who meets the requirements for enrollment in a Luiss Master's Degree program and is generally between 25 and 35 years of age.
The Fulbright scholarship at Luiss is awarded in line with the guiding principle of the Fulbright Program: to foster stronger cultural ties between Italy and the United States.

Typically, the amount of the Graduation Awards varies depending on the awarding institution. The primary requirement is usually merit, meaning a graduation grade that meets a certain threshold and is achieved by a specific date or within a particular session. This is often coupled with the thesis addressing specific topics.
Winning the advertised Graduation Award can also lead to other benefits, such as thesis publication, an internship with the awarding institution or partner companies, the opportunity to pursue a research or advanced study program abroad, or coverage of tuition fees for a postgraduate course, among others.

Euler Hermes Degree Award in memory of Roberta Buzzi
2021 Edition
Luiss Guido Carli, in collaboration with Euler Hermes and the family of Roberta Buzzi, Head of Risk Controlling Mediterranean Countries, Africa, and the Middle East, is launching a competition in her memory. The competition will award a €2,000 Graduation Prize for the best master's thesis on Risk Controlling & Management, Insurance and Reinsurance, Trade Credit and Forms of Guarantee, or Credit Risk.
The award ceremony will take place on November 29, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at the Luiss campus on Viale Romania.

Bank of Italy scholarships for advanced studies abroad
The Bank of Italy is offering seven scholarships to outstanding recent master's graduates who have completed a thesis with original and/or innovative content on topics aligned with the subject areas listed below, demonstrating an aptitude for research and critical thinking:
- 3 "Bonaldo Stringher" scholarships for advanced studies abroad in the fields of political economy and economic policy
- 2 "Giorgio Mortara" scholarships for advanced studies abroad in mathematical, statistical, and econometric methodologies, primarily focused on analyzing institutions, markets, and financial instruments, as well as their regulation
- 2 "Donato Menichella" scholarships for advanced studies abroad on the interrelationships between economic growth and the legal system, as well as the impacts of regulation on economic activities.
Requirements: A master's degree earned after November 17, 2019, with a grade of 110/110, and excellent knowledge of the language of the postgraduate course.

LEF Degree Award
6th Edition 2021
The LEF Association for Legality and Tax Equity is launching a competition to award three prizes, each valued at €2,000 .
The call for applications is reserved for those who
- earned a master's degree in 2020 or 2021
- submit an application by December 31, 2021; this deadline is extended to January 31, 2022 for those defending their thesis in December 2021 (*).
Theses must address topics related to the constitutional principles of legality and tax equity,
with a particular focus on the social and civic value of these principles and the redistributive function

The “Felice Gianani” Foundation, sponsored by the ABI (Italian Banking Association), is launching a merit-based competition for a scholarship named after Felice Gianani. This scholarship is reserved for EU citizens with a graduate degree who wish to further their studies in law and economics, with a focus on national and international financial markets, by attending a course of study or conducting a research program for a minimum of 9 months in a country other than their home country.
Citizens of European Union countries who earned a master’s degree or equivalent qualification after June 30, 2018, with the highest possible grade from a university or equivalent institution, are eligible to apply.

Scholarship for Master's Degrees in Human Rights Protection
Fondazione Alessandro Pavesi ONLUS - 14thedition
In memory of Alessandro Pavesi, a law student who tragically lost his life at the age of 19 to a hit-and-run, the Foundation established in his honor is launching a competition for a scholarship. This scholarship is intended for master's degree graduates whose theses address topics related to the protection of human rights. The scholarship, valued at €12,000, covers attendance at a postgraduate course abroad for the 2022/2023 academic year, lasting a minimum of 6 months at a university or research center.
Participation requirements
a. Residence in Italy
b. a master’s degree from an Italian university with a thesis on human rights, completed after July 31, 2019, and in any case by January 31, 2022
c. excellent knowledge of the foreign language used in the courses selected for the scholarship
d. no criminal convictions.

“G.I.N.A.” Degree Award in memory of Francesco Ginese
2021 Edition
Luiss Guido Carli, in collaboration with the G.I.N.A. Grandi Idee Nascono Amando association, is launching a competition to award a €2,000 graduation prize in memory of Francesco Ginese. Participation is reserved for graduates of Luiss master’s programs or single-cycle master’s programs who completed their studies between January 1, 2020, and April 30, 2021, and defended a thesis on topics related to immigration and the social integration of migrants in the economic, legal, or socio-political fields.
Throughout his young life, Francesco demonstrated a keen awareness of the issues surrounding reception and integration. His efforts primarily focused on the working conditions of migrants employed in the agricultural sector, which is often plagued by widespread exploitation. Francesco had a natural inclination to help people in need, and in his master’s thesis, “Immigration in an Aging Italy,” he analyzed the complex issues underlying integration processes. For this reason, the call for applications aims to raise students' awareness of these pressing social issues, thereby continuing the legacy of Francesco's extraordinary example.

“EY Foundation Onlus” Graduation Award in memory of Fabrizio Pascale – 2021 Edition
Luiss Guido Carli, in collaboration with the “EY Foundation Onlus” and the family of Fabrizio Pascale, is launching a competition to award two graduation prizes in his memory, totaling €4,500. These prizes are reserved for one Bachelor’s and one Master’s graduate from Luiss who have defended a thesis on “Telco, Media, and Technology.”
These topics are linked to EY's role as the “Telco, Media & Technology Mediterranean Leader,” a position that Fabrizio Pascale expertly held. He participated in key industry conventions and workshops, engaging in discussions and making insightful contributions to the debate on digital, innovation, and telecommunications.

Call for applications for 16 scholarships of excellence for prospective students of the Bachelor’s or Single-Cycle Master’s Degree Programs at Luiss Guido Carli – Academic Year 2021-2022
Luiss’s educational model, known as life largelearning, combines a solid, specialized foundation with a broader, more inclusive cultural approach that addresses current issues such as innovation, sustainability, the circular economy, and ethical and social thinking within increasingly open and interconnected ecosystems. The goal is to nurture students’ natural intellectual curiosity, enabling them to discover themselves through personal effort and develop independent, critical thinking. This approach ensures an immediate, tangible social impact and represents the perfect balance between individual preparation and teamwork skills. With this in mind, the University employs an innovative educational model called inquiry-based learning. This model fosters a synergy between students’ investigative spirit and their academic education, emphasizing their ability to ask questions and explore phenomena in a way that values critical thinking and problem-solving. Call for applications for 24 scholarships for prospective master's degree students – Academic year 2021-2022
Luiss is awarding twenty-four scholarships to students enrolled in the first year of a master's degree program. The scholarships, which provide a partial exemption from the Single Contribution payment amounting to €6,150 per year, will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- Twelve scholarships for students who have completed or are currently completing a Bachelor's degree at Luiss by November 20, 2021
- Twelve scholarships will be awarded to students who have completed or are currently completing a Bachelor's degree at a university other than Luiss by November 20, 2021, and who pass the admission test scheduled for April 2021.
Following a request from some students, the University has agreed to lower the maximum number of credits required for admission to this competition from 160 to 136, as outlined in paragraph 2 of the Competition Notice.

Luiss, in partnership with INWIT – a leading company in electronic telecommunications infrastructure – is launching a competition to award a grant of €12,300, providing a full exemption from the Single Contribution fee for the 2021-2022 academic year.
