Established in 2021, the lab aims to conduct advanced research and innovation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Quantum Technology, with applications related to the development of markets, businesses, and society at large (e.g., FinTech, BioTech, GreenTech, Natural Language Processing). The primary goal is to create value for CLIO and the University as a whole by producing scientific research and AI-driven technological solutions for topics of interest, including through Open Innovation models and external partnerships. To this end, since its inception, the Lab has fostered a partnership with the “Fatti di Algos” Association, an independent organization founded by former Luiss students. Operating in the AI sector, it boasts a network of researchers and technicians with strong academic and scientific backgrounds, based in both the United States and Europe, who can support the development of relevant activities.

With this structure, the lab aims to become an innovation hub for the design, production, development, and dissemination of AI-based solutions and services, while also fostering a culture of reflection on the ongoing technological revolution.
