Emilio Coppa is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Computer Science at LUISS Guido Carli University. Before joining LUISS, he was an Assistant Professor at Sapienza University of Rome. He organized the first three editions of CyberChallenge.IT, a cybersecurity training program for young talents, which is now officially recognized by Italy's National Cybersecurity Authority (ACN). Additionally, he served as a coach and team manager from 2017 to 2019 for Team Italy, the Italian cybersecurity team. His research interests involve software testing and software security. Specifically, he has exploited software testing techniques, such as symbolic execution and software fuzzing, to discover bugs, detect vulnerabilities, conduct reverse engineering, and identify malicious activities.
