Gregory Alegi is a military historian and journalist. His research interests center around Air Power, on which he has published numerous essays and books. He sits on the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione ICSA. He has taught Aerospace History at the Italian Air Force Academy since 1998 in the Aeronautics Science degree program. At Luiss Political Science Department he is adjunct professor of History of the Americas (previously History, Institutions and Economy of North America) since 2006. He also teaches Basic Aeronautics in the Luiss Business School Aviation MBA, since 2008, as well as courses tailored to the specific requirements of industry customers. As journalist, he is the editor of Dedalonews, the Italian aerospace, defense and security daily online since 2005. He was previously Managing Editor of “Pegaso”, the monthly magazine of the Italian Airline Pilots Association (2002-03) and “Ali Antiche”, the leading Italian vintage aircraft publication (1986-2004).
