Paolo Boccardelli is the Rector of Luiss University, since June 2024.

Since 2004, he has been Full Professor of Business Economics, Management, and Business Strategy at Luiss Guido Carli. He served as Director of the Luiss Business School from 2015 to May 2022. He is Director of the “Franco Fontana” Strategic Change Research Center at Luiss and Co-Director of the Board Academy Program at the Luiss Business School.

He is a member of the Board of Directors, Chair of the Related Parties Committee, and member of the Control and Risk Committee at Telecom Italia for the 2021-2024 term. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Related Parties Committee at Banco BPM. He previously served as Independent Board Member and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at UBI Banca.

He is a member of the EQUIS committee and a consultant on quality services and processes for schools pursuing EQUIS accreditation.
