Pasquale Ferrara
Since 2010 I’ve been teaching courses in Diplomacy and Negotiation both in the Master in International and Public Affairs and in the regular Master Program of LUISS in Rome, focusing on dispute resolutions, religions and world affairs. I’ve also been Secretary General of the European University Institute (2011-2016). I have an extended direct practice in the field of international relations, being an Italian diplomat since 1984. I’ve been involved in both bilateral and multilateral diplomacy. In particular, I served in Brussels during the EU Convention in the early 2000s and in Washington as a political counselor during the Administration of George W.Bush, following in particular the conflict in Iraq (2003). I published a number of books and academic essays on international relations.
