The Omero School is Italy's first school of creative writing, based in the Monteverde Vecchio district of Rome.

In December 1992, Omero also became a publishing house and began publishing the periodical “OMERO”: the magazine for creative writing.

The School collaborates with and organizes courses at universities and schools of all levels.
Fiction workshops are held weekly, both in the evening and on weekends, to make it possible for working people and students to participate.
