Agostino Scornajenchi, CEO of Snam, is Luiss 2026 Alumnus
At the traditional ceremony on 11 November, where the University honours individuals who have distinguished themselves on the national and international stage, Agostino Scornajenchi will receive the prestigious “Luiss Alumnus 2026” award.

Born in Rome in 1972, Agostino Scornajenchi is at the helm of Snam since May 2025. Having graduated with honours in Economics and Business from Luiss, he brings thirty years of experience gained at the highest levels of the large-scale energy infrastructure sector, having held roles of increasing responsibility within leading Italian and international groups. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of CDP Venture Capital Sgr, President of the National Association of Administrative and Financial Directors (ANDAF), and Chief Financial Officer of Terna.

With the “Luiss Alumnus” award, now in its 11th year, the University celebrates a prominent figure from the global “Luiss Alumni Network” each year. This network includes graduates from Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East.
