Ambassador Elisabetta Belloni, Director General of the Department of Security Information (DIS), is a 2024 Luiss Alumna
Elisabetta Belloni graduated with honors in Political Science from Luiss in 1982. Her diplomatic career began in 1985 at the Political Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has continued with prestigious positions both internationally and in Italy. From 2016 to 2021, she served as Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2021, she has served as the Director General of the DIS, the first woman to hold this sensitive position.
The award ceremony was attended by the President of Luiss, Luigi Gubitosi, the Rector, Paolo Boccardelli, and the President of the Luiss Alumni Network (LAN), Daniele Pelli.
