Call for Visiting Professors and Visiting Fellows for the 2020–21 academic year
Luiss University invites outstanding candidates to apply for the position of visiting professors or visiting fellows in the fields of:
- Economics and Finance
- Business and Management
- Law
- Political Science
The application deadline is February 28, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. (Italian local time).
General Rules
Luiss is accepting applications for the following visiting positions:
- Visiting Professors
Visiting professors are expected to teach, conduct research, and develop institutional cooperation.
They will spend between 4 and 12 consecutive weeks at Luiss.
The compensation for Visiting Professors, subject to current tax legislation, ranges from €3,000.00 to €5,000.00 (all-inclusive) per month, depending on seniority and length of stay.
- Visiting Fellows
Visiting fellows are expected to conduct research and foster institutional cooperation.
They will spend a minimum of 2 consecutive weeks at Luiss.
The contribution for Visiting Fellows, subject to current tax legislation, ranges from €1,000.00 to €2,000.00 (all-inclusive), depending on seniority and length of stay.
Applicants must indicate in their application their preferred visiting period within the 2020–2021 academic year. Longer visiting periods are generally preferred.
Selection
The available positions are filled through a competitive selection process conducted by a Luiss Committee.
Visiting Periods
- Fall: September 2020 – December 2020
- Spring: February 2021 – May 2021
- Summer: June 2021 – July 2021
Timelines
