COLLAGE project: call for a research activity
The call for applications is now online for a research grant for the COLLAGE Project, which focuses on developing new methodologies for sustainable Artificial Intelligence. Interested candidates must submit their applications by 12:00 noon on Friday 7 August.
The COLLAGE project
The project aims to reduce the computational costs of AI systems through a continuous, decentralised, and compositional approach, encouraging the reuse of existing models and the development of solutions designed to be more efficient and sustainable.
The project aims to create Artificial Intelligence models that can adapt over time, share knowledge between different applications, and build new systems by reusing existing ones. The results will be validated through a proof of concept based on a decentralised system for forecasting floods in Europe.
Research activities
The selected candidate will conduct research focused on developing a methodology for the automatic and dynamic selection of Artificial Intelligence models based on the specific task at hand, thereby contributing to the project's objectives regarding the decentralised composability of AI models.
The research grant will run for 12 months.
How to apply
The selection notice and application form are available here.
The application must be accompanied by the following documentation:
- a dated and signed curriculum vitae, including authorisation for the processing of personal data;
