IDMO secures European funding from Digital Europe for the third time
Over €1.3 million to strengthen research, fact-checking, disinformation monitoring, and media literacy in Italy.
The Italian Digital Media Observatory (IDMO), the Italian hub of the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) network, coordinated by the Luiss Data Lab Research Centre and comprising RAI, TIM, ANSA, NewsGuard, Pagella Politica, T6 Ecosystems, and Cy4Gate, has been awarded funding from the European Commission for the third time under the Digital Europe programme.
The project, valued at €1,304,289.34, will support research into disinformation, fact-checking, monitoring of the information ecosystem, and media literacy.
