Luiss Business School opens its new Milan campus

Inaugurazione nuova sede Milano

The President of Luiss University, Giorgio Fossa, together with the President of the Luiss Business School, Luigi Abete, and Dean Raffaele Oriani, welcomed the guests and shared their thoughts on the significance and importance of this investment for the School’s development strategies, both nationally and internationally.
The event, which featured an introduction by the Rector of Luiss, Paolo Boccardelli, was attended by Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardy Region, and the Mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala.

The roundtable discussion held to inaugurate the School’s new premises in Milan focused on the impact of artificial intelligence on skills, productivity, and the redefinition of leadership and governance models, as well as the role of training in supporting the technological transition. Moderated by Radio24 journalist Simone Spetia, Alessandra Carra, CEO of the Feltrinelli Group, Vincenzo Esposito, CEO of Microsoft Italy, Andrea Guerra, CEO of the Prada Group, and Raffaele Oriani, Dean of the Luiss Business School, discussed the topic, sharing their experiences and insights.

The meeting brought together representatives from the worlds of business, academia, and government to reflect on the major transformations underway and the need to develop increasingly robust, interdisciplinary, and international managerial skills. These skills will enable individuals and organisations to navigate new environments that are rapidly and profoundly shaped by the applications of artificial intelligence and the digital transition.

Milan is a strategic hub for the School’s multi-hub model. Along with its campuses in Rome, Amsterdam, and Dubai, it strengthens its presence from northern to southern Europe and in the Gulf region, a leading international economic and financial ecosystem. This enables its students to gain an international experience and adopt a global perspective.

“With the opening of the Milan campus, we are strengthening Luiss Business School’s presence in one of Europe’s leading hubs for innovation, finance, and business,” said Luigi Abete, President of Luiss Business School. For us, Milan is a prime vantage point from which to interpret the ongoing transformations, and a strategic location to help develop increasingly international managerial skills that can support the growth and competitiveness of the business community in a context marked by technological acceleration and the impact of Artificial Intelligence. The role of business schools is becoming central,” Abete added. “Training leaders who can navigate change with vision, skills, and awareness is a responsibility we feel strongly about, and this new campus allows us to fulfil it even more effectively.”

Luiss Business School’s educational offering in Milan

Luiss Business School’s mission is to develop conscious leaders who can steer the transformations underway and make a real impact on society. With its position among the top business schools, as evidenced by its Triple Crown international accreditation, the School is committed to constantly evolving its educational offering. This is focused on developing advanced skills in leadership, innovation, digital transformation, sustainability, and Artificial Intelligence, in line with the needs of businesses and emerging professions.

With this in mind, the educational offering in Milan has been expanded to include new full-time Multi Hub Master’s programmes, the development of Executive programmes focusing on finance and governance with strong ties to Milan’s business community, and the MBA offering with Executive MBA and Part-time MBA options. These initiatives are designed for individuals seeking to strengthen or accelerate their careers by combining learning with their professional commitments.

“Opening the new Milan campus is a particularly important milestone for us,” commented Dean Raffaele Oriani. It’s the tangible expression of how our educational model – based on personalisation, continuous innovation, and a focus on personal growth, and supported by a world-class faculty – meets the real and necessary training needs of companies and local communities. With our multi-hub approach, we train talented individuals, managers, and professionals by focusing on strategic vision, analytical skills, and critical thinking. We provide them with the tools they need to tackle the complex challenges of our time and act responsibly.”
