On May 7th and 8th, one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated events returned to the Viale Romania Campus: the Luiss Career Day, now in its 29th edition. This is a unique opportunity for master’s students, recent graduates, and master’s program participants to connect directly with the world of work and discover new career opportunities.

Under the title “Step into Your Future,” the event fostered the connection between academic education and employability, emphasizing the dialogue between aspirations, skills, and tangible opportunities in a context marked by rapid technological, economic, and geopolitical changes.

For two days, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, over 160 companies and law firms—including major Italian and international players—met with Luiss students for one-on-one interviews and personalized career guidance sessions. Opportunities span various fields, including Consulting, Corporate, Finance, Legal, and Lobbying & Public Affairs.

“Career Day is the moment when you can truly feel the strong bond between our university and the world of work,” said Enzo Peruffo, Dean of the Luiss Graduate School. “It's a great collective event, but also an extraordinary individual opportunity for each participant. For companies, it means investing in the human capital of the future; for our students and recent graduates, it represents a real opportunity to build valuable relationships, both now and over time.”

Once again this year, Career Day made a notable social impact: all the companies and law firms in attendance took part in the “Social Mobility” project, contributing to a scholarship fund for deserving students. This reinforces the university’s commitment to equitable and inclusive access to quality education.

In addition, the “Best Employer” initiative allowed students to vote for the most deserving company based on their experience during the event. The award ceremony for the winners will take place in November, providing another opportunity for networking and sharing.

Luiss’s strong ties to the job market yield tangible results: 96% of graduates find employment within a year of graduation, a figure that rises to 97% in the field of economics and business.
