Luiss has secured new European funding for the BETKONEXT project – Better Knowledge for the Next Generations – presented by Professor of Administrative Law Aldo Sandulli under the EUAF (Union Anti-Fraud Programme), a program managed by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF).

The main goal of the research is to explore issues related to protecting the EU’s financial interests, considering the potential to encourage institutional coordination. It will do so by building on the state-of-the-art work presented in a previous Hercule III project, “Better Knowledge for Better Solutions (BETKOSOL).” Through distinct work phases, BETKONEXT aims to explore the potential of institutional cooperation by studying regulatory contexts and practical cooperation methods.

The research, which will run for 24 months, is led by Luiss and also involves experts from the Universities of Leuven, Toruń, and Barcelona. The National Committee for the Prevention of Fraud against the EU (COLAF) is also contributing to the scientific research on behalf of Italy.
