Luiss supports Ukraine

In line with the appeal from the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities, Luiss Guido Carli University expresses its full solidarity with the Ukrainian people, who are currently defending their right to democracy and independence. The European Union’s response, along with the commitment of Prime Minister Mario Draghi and the Italian government, marks just the first step in isolating the aggressors and repelling an invasion that tramples on Ukraine’s fundamental principles of freedom and sovereignty. For these reasons, the University is launching a series of initiatives aimed at providing tangible support to the people of this country. Specifically, Luiss has decided to establish a fund with 10 scholarships for the education of Ukrainian young men and women, marking the first step in its commitment to help restore hope during these tragic times. Indeed, knowledge and skills are fundamental tools for reshaping a nation's future.
