New Double Degree in Policies and Governance in Europe with King's College London
Today, European countries and the European Union itself are facing shared crises in the political, economic, social, and identity spheres. Europe faces a challenge: identifying effective policies to boost economic and employment growth, regulating markets, responding to a constantly changing demographic landscape, and promoting and protecting its cultural heritage. These issues and their solutions are closely tied to the various key decision-making levels: local, regional, national, and European. Each of these levels, in turn, makes decisions that are interconnected with the others.
To analyze these dynamics, King's College London and Luiss offer a Double Degree in Policies and Governance in Europe (PAGE). Launched in the 2020–2021 academic year, the program addresses key political and economic developments in Europe and provides the opportunity to spend one year in Rome and one in London.
“Two capitals, London and Rome; two prestigious universities, King's and Luiss; one double degree: by choosing PAGE, students have the unique opportunity to gain the knowledge and tools needed to interpret the ever-changing dynamics of European relations,” emphasized Luiss Rector Andrea Prencipe.
The program provides an in-depth understanding of political economy and its policies in Europe, encompassing both the European Union and all the continent's states. It takes an interdisciplinary approach, drawing on political science, economics, and law.
Upon completing the program, students will earn two degrees in Policies and Governance in Europe: a Master's Degree from Luiss and a Master of Arts from King's College London.
