The University’s Board of Directors, chaired by Luigi Gubitosi, has appointed the rectoral team that will support the new rector, Paolo Boccardelli, for the three-year period 2024–2027.

Paolo Boccardelli stated, “The individuals who will join me over the next three years possess the highest academic credentials in their respective fields of research and teaching. We will work together to solidify Luiss's international standing and further strengthen its role as a key partner for the business community and Confindustria. From the revolution in the labor market to the new frontiers of AI and technology, the new team is ready to tackle the major issues of today and tomorrow, ensuring our students continue to receive an excellent education.”

Specifically, the new team of Vice Rectors includes:

• Vice Rector for Teaching and Quality: Livia De Giovanni, Full Professor of Statistics;
• Vice Rector for Development, Alumni Relations, and Sport: Francesco Di Ciommo, Full Professor of Private Law;
• Vice Rector for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Skills: Giuseppe Italiano, Full Professor of Computer Science;
• Vice Rector for Internationalization: Antonio Majocchi, Full Professor of Economics and Business Management;
• Vice Rector for Research and the Third Mission: Stefano Manzocchi, Full Professor of International Economics.

The Board of Directors has also appointed the Deans of the Schools, as well as the Directors of the University’s four Departments :

• Dean of the Undergraduate School and Single-Cycle Master's Program: Antonino Gullo, Full Professor of Criminal Law;
• Dean of the Graduate School: Enzo Peruffo, Full Professor of Business Strategy;
• Dean of the Luiss Institute for European Analysis and Policy (LEAP): Valentina Meliciani, Full Professor of Applied Economics;
• Dean of the Luiss Business School: Raffaele Oriani, Full Professor of Corporate Finance;
• Dean of the Luiss School of Law: Aristide Police, Full Professor of Administrative Law;
• Dean of the Luiss School of Government: Gaetano Quagliariello, Full Professor of Contemporary History;
• Director of the Department of Business and Management: Christian Lechner, Full Professor of Entrepreneurship;
• Director of the Department of Political Science: Giovanni Orsina, Full Professor of Contemporary History;
• Director of the Department of Economics and Finance: Alberto Petrucci, Full Professor of Macroeconomics and International Economics;
• Director of the Department of Law: Antonio Punzi, Full Professor of Legal Science Methodology.

Seven advisors will also work with the Rector, covering the following areas:

• Entrepreneurship Development, Venture Capital, and the Startup Ecosystem: Michele Costabile, Full Professor of Marketing Management and Performance Marketing & Metrics;
• Marketing, Student Orientation, and Recruitment: Matteo De Angelis, Full Professor of Marketing;
• Diversity, Inclusion, and Sustainability: Emiliana De Blasio, Associate Professor of Media Research;
• Internationalization of the Law area and the Engage Program: Barbara De Donno, Full Professor of Comparative Private Law;
• Faculty Development and Management: Raffaele Fabozzi, Full Professor of Labor Law;
• Digital Transformation of the University: Irene Finocchi, Full Professor of Computer Science;
• Internationalization of the Political Science area: Nicola Lupo, Full Professor of Constitutional Law.
