Saipem and Luiss join forces for research and training on the future of energy

Yesterday, Monday, July 7, on the Viale Pola campus, a three-year collaboration agreement was announced between Luiss Guido Carli and Saipem, a global leader in the energy engineering sector. 
A meeting between Rector Paolo Boccardelli, Saipem President Elisabetta Serafin, and Saipem’s Chief People, HSEQ, and Sustainability Officer Massimiliano Branchi officially kicked off a journey with ambitious goals.

Goals and planned activities

The agreement aims to strengthen the bond between academia and business by promoting joint initiatives in research, training, and helping young people enter the workforce. It places a particular focus on issues related to the future of energy and sustainable development.

Planned activities include:

  • joint research projects and workshops;
  • company visits and internships for Luiss students, provided by Saipem;
  • testimonials and meetings with Saipem professionals as part of Luiss’s academic activities;
  • advanced training programs for Saipem employees, delivered by the Luiss Postgraduate Schools and the Luiss Business School.
