Luiss Guido Carli has received two awards that confirm the university’s commitment to transparency and responsible resource management: the 2025 Reporting Oscar and 12th place globally (2nd in Italy) in the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking.

Yesterday in Milan, Luiss received an award in the Public Institutions, Universities and Representative Associations category at the 2025 Reporting Oscar ceremony. This prestigious award, sponsored by Borsa Italiana, Bocconi University, and FERPI (the Italian Public Relations Federation), recognises best practices in reporting and transparency. Luiss was honoured for its 2024 Sustainability and Impact Report.
The jury praised the document’s structure and consistency, its external certification based on GRI Standards, and the methodology used to assess the positive impacts generated.

"The rise in the ranking reflects the commitment of the entire Luiss community to resource management, process innovation, and the promotion of a culture of sustainability – aspects we intend to pursue with the same care and passion that enabled us to achieve this significant result in 2025," stated Luiss Managing Director Rita Carisano, who accepted the award.

Just days after the Milan award, Luiss also strengthened its international standing, ranking 12th globally and 2nd in Italy among 1,745 universities from 105 countries, according to the UI GreenMetric ranking.
