Andrea Capati (PhD) is a post-doctoral researcher and adjunct professor in the Department of Political Science at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, as well as a visiting research fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence. His research focuses on the institutions and policies of Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), with a focus on EU borrowing and financial assistance integration. His work has appeared in the Journal of European Public Policy, Journal of European Integration, Comparative European Politics and Journal of Contemporary European Studies. He is also the author of The Politics of Financial Assistance in Times of Crisis: Rescuing Europe, published by Palgrave Macmillan.
