Luiss Summer Internship - Student FAQ
Interested students must submit their application online no later than 04/09/2026 at 11:59 PM.
You can only register once, so you won't be able to change the information you've entered. Please also note that the order in which applications are received will not be a factor in the ranking. We recommend carefully reviewing the information you've entered before submitting your application.
Once you complete the form, the system will automatically send a confirmation email.
The Career Service Office will notify candidates of the selection results via email by May 14, 2026.
You won't need to provide an English language certificate. International students will need to demonstrate a minimum C1 level of Italian, certified by Luiss University (the certificate can be found on the Self Service web platform) or another certifying body.
There is no minimum number of credits required to submit an application. However, for the purposes of the ranking calculation, exams registered in the student's academic record by April 9, 2026 will be considered, and a weighted average of at least 25/30 will be required.
The student must communicate either acceptance or rejection of the Luiss Summer Internship proposal within a strict deadline of 2 working days from receiving the email notification sent by the Career Service.
If the Career Service does not receive any communication within 2 business days from the date the ranking is communicated, the opportunity to participate in the Luiss Summer Internship will be forfeited, and the candidates will automatically be considered as having withdrawn and will be excluded from the call.
If you have already completed a curricular internship and thus earned the required credits for your course of study, you can still participate in the Luiss Summer Internship without having those credits recognized.
All aspects related to the internship's terms and conditions (e.g., full-time/part-time; in-person/hybrid/remote work; start and end times; expense reimbursement) will be agreed upon directly between the intern and the host employer/organization.
Please note that in the call, employers and host organizations are grouped by field of study based on their stated needs. Therefore, you will need to select at least 5 employers or host organizations, and up to a maximum of 10, from the list for your degree program.
Once the Luiss Summer Internship proposal is accepted, students will be put in touch with the host employers/organizations. Subsequently, the host employer/organization will sign the agreement and the Luiss Summer Internship training project before the internship begins, as indicated on the Curricular Internships page.
After noting any withdrawals from the winning students, the Career Service Committee may contact eligible candidates who did not win, based on the previously established ranking. Candidates must respond to the invitation email no later than 2 business days after receiving it; otherwise, they will be excluded from the selection process.
