The official course list and class schedule for the following academic year are typically released around April.

Course Descriptions

Luiss courses are taught in either English or Italian. To access the syllabi for the listed courses, please visit Luiss Cattedre Online.

Course Locations

Law courses are taught on the Via Parenzo and Viale Pola campuses.

All other courses are held on the Viale Romania campus.

Enrollment Guidelines

Course enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Erasmus and exchange students can enroll in courses across all disciplines, academic years, and levels (both bachelor's and master's), provided they meet the necessary prerequisites outlined in the syllabi. The prerequisites serve as a guide for self-assessment, helping students determine whether they have the foundational knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen courses.

Graduate-level courses are advanced in nature; students enrolling in these courses should have a strong academic background and proficient language skills.

Exam Opportunities – An Overview

Each course offers at least two final exam sessions per semester, with three offered for Law courses.

Students can choose to take their exams during either the First or Second Examination Period, or split them between the two — this is the most common approach among Luiss students. If you fail an exam, you can retake it during the next available exam session.

Scheduling & Availability

• First Examination Period: Only one exam opportunity is offered per course during this period.

• Potential Overlaps: Exam dates are published approximately one month after classes start. Times may overlap within a single period—particularly between different years or programs. If a conflict arises, you should plan to split your exams between the First and Second Examination Periods.
