ENGAGE.EU – Joint Certificate in Global Sustainability Management

An international experience to shape your future in global sustainability. 

The Global Sustainability Management (GSM) program offers Luiss students enrolled in Management and Strategic Management programs a unique opportunity to participate in an international learning journey focused on sustainability, in collaboration with ENGAGE.EU partner universities.

With an innovative, interdisciplinary approach, GSM combines academic courses, workshops, simulations, bootcamps, and immersive activities to provide a comprehensive, transformative education that prepares students to tackle the challenges of global sustainability.
 

Program structure

Duration: 1 academic year (at partner universities within the ENGAGE.EU network). )
Mobility Year: second year of the master's degree in Management and Strategic Management
Level: Master's-level certificate
Credits: 60 ECTS
Start: September 2026

First semester of GSM

4 core courses, 28 ECTS:

  • Current Trends in Global Sustainability (4 ECTS)
  • Understanding the Global Sustainability Context (6 ECTS)
  • Tackling Global Sustainability Challenges (6 ECTS)
  • Sustainability Transformation Lab (12 ECTS)

Second semester of GSM

  • A wide selection of 30 elective courses offered by ENGAGE.EU partner universities

1 exclusive GSM course: Reflections on Sustainability (2 ECTS)

  • Priority list of your top 3 preferred ENGAGE.EU partner universities for the second semester
