ENGAGE.EU Student Engagement

Within the ENGAGE.EU alliance, students are at the heart of every initiative: not just beneficiaries, but active participants in building a European University committed to social change.
To enhance their role, ENGAGE.EU has developed a participatory structure that allows students to influence decisions, create projects, and bring the alliance’s international academic life to life.
The students’ voice within the alliance.
The Board of Learners is the primary student advisory body at the European level. It comprises two representatives from each partner university and is tasked with:
representing students’ needs, ideas, and requests within ENGAGE.EU’s decision-making bodies;
ensure inclusion and equity in access to educational opportunities;
collaborate across the board on all initiatives for students and lifelong learners;
act as a point of contact for student representatives, clubs, associations, and alumni interested in contributing to the alliance’s activities.
The ENGAGE.EU community on your campus
The Local Learner Chapters are student groups active at each university in the alliance. They strengthen the local dimension of ENGAGE.EU and are the driving force behind student activities on campuses.
The Chapters work closely with the BoL and with the ENGAGE.EU units at each university.
Their main activities include:
promote European education and the ENGAGE.EU community within the university;
organise events, workshops, projects, and meetings open to students, faculty, alumni, and external partners;
promote the alliance’s opportunities and engage a growing number of participants;
propose innovative activities on topics such as sustainability, creativity, inter-campus collaboration, and interdisciplinarity.

ENGAGE.EU offers a packed calendar of initiatives that combine training, international collaboration, creativity, and social impact.
ENGAGE.EU Student Conference
A major event that brings together students from all partner universities to discuss European challenges, propose ideas, and co-design innovative solutions. A unique opportunity to develop a strategic vision, build your network, and engage in active citizenship.
ENGAGE.EU Student Hackathon
An intensive experience where international teams of students work together to find creative and technological solutions to real-world problems. Innovation, collaboration, and experimentation in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
