ENGAGE.EU Study Tour
ENGAGE.EU Study Tours are a new format for short-term physical mobility, designed to make the international experience more accessible, inclusive, and aligned with the needs of students from the Luiss Graduate and Undergraduate School.
These are intensive 3–5-day visits where groups of students from at least three partner universities get the chance to spend a few days on the campus of another university in the alliance. The Programme is co-designed with students from the host university, creating an authentic experience of cultural and academic exchange.
Each Study Tour includes:
- an academic component that introduces participants to the study topics and academic culture of the host country;
- external activities, such as visits to local organisations, institutions, or businesses;
- opportunities for discussion with the local student community, providing a first-hand understanding of the social, institutional, and economic context of the area.
Why take part in a Study Tour?
ENGAGE.EU Study Tours are designed to expand mobility opportunities, going beyond traditional semester exchanges and summer/winter schools. They are particularly effective for students from underrepresented groups, providing a tangible first step towards future international mobility experiences.
By taking part, you'll be able to:
- discover new approaches to learning and teaching in another university system;
- understand how the education system works and the academic profile of the host university;
- immerse yourself in the local institutional and economic ecosystem;
- build a lasting international network by interacting with students and faculty on the campus you visit;
- gain the confidence and motivation to undertake a longer period of study abroad for credits or qualifications in the future.
