The “Vittorio Bachelet” Research Center on Public Administrations at Luiss Guido Carli, with funding from the National Association of Civil Administration Officials of the Interior (A.N.F.A.C.I.), is awarding a scholarship to recent graduates. The scholarship, with a gross amount of €1,000.00 (one thousand), is intended for research on topics related to the prefectural institution and the administration of the interior in Italy and abroad.


The deadline for submitting applications to participate in the competition is June 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

DiSCo Lazio – Right to Education Call for Applications

Competition for the award of scholarships, housing, cafeteria service, international mobility grants, and graduation prizes. Luiss grants a full exemption from the Single Contribution payment to those who qualify for the DiSCo Lazio Right to Education Call for the 2023-2024 academic year. While awaiting the selection results, Luiss candidates are required to finalize their administrative status by paying the first installment of the Single Contribution. Once the final ranking is published (usually in October), DiSCo Lazio will refund the regional fee for the right to study, while Luiss will refund the first installment.

In honor of Paolo Verdicchio, and thanks to the financial support of his loved ones, friends, and family, Luiss Guido Carli is offering two scholarships for students enrolled in the first year of the master’s degree programs in Economics and Finance and Management for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The scholarships provide a 50% waiver of the single tuition fee and can also be confirmed for the second year of the program.

Thanks to a contribution from INWIT, a leading company in the electronic telecommunications infrastructure sector, Luiss Guido Carli is offering two scholarships for students enrolled in the second year of the master's degree programs in Marketing and Corporate Finance, and one scholarship for female students enrolled in the second year of the degree program in Data Science and Management. The scholarships provide full exemption from the annual tuition fee.

Luiss Guido Carli, in collaboration with the Giuseppe Patroni Griffi Onlus Foundation in memory of Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, is offering a full exemption from the university’s single tuition fee for the 2024/2025 academic year. This scholarship is intended for a student residing in the Puglia Region and enrolled in the first year of a master’s degree program, with priority given to students enrolled in the following courses:

  • Corporate Finance;
  • Data Science and Management;
  • Economics and Finance.

Call for applications for a scholarship in memory of Cesare Romiti, intended for prospective students in Bachelor’s or single-cycle Master’s degree programs

Luiss Guido Carli, with funding from the Osservatorio Permanente Giovani - Editori, is launching a competition to award a five-year scholarship in memory of Cesare Romiti, one of the most important managers in 20th-century Italian history.
The scholarship, intended for students who are admitted to the first year of a bachelor’s or single-cycle master’s degree program in the 2024/2025 academic year after passing the entrance exam (national selection), provides a full exemption from the annual tuition fee.
Applications can be submitted via the online form from May 15 until 12:00 p.m. on June 20, 2024.

Luiss Guido Carli, thanks to the financial support of friends and the Cafarella family, is announcing the award of two scholarships in memory of Federico Cafarella. These scholarships are intended for students enrolled in the first year of the master’s degree program in Corporate Finance during the 2024/2025 academic year. 

Federico was a Luiss student in the degree programs in Economics and Business and Corporate Finance.  Throughout his time at the university, he consistently excelled in his studies, bringing his distinctive wit and cheerfulness to the table. He achieved outstanding academic results and showed empathy and warmth to everyone who got to know him. He left an indelible mark at Luiss by spearheading numerous initiatives rooted in the values he held dearest: meritocracy, friendship, and dedication.

The scholarships cover the second installment of the annual tuition fee, amounting to 4,400.00 euros.

Call for applications for two scholarships intended for students who have participated or will participate in the “Legality and Merit” Project and who are admitted to a three-year bachelor’s degree program or a single-cycle master’s degree program at Luiss Guido Carli.

To provide a real opportunity for exceptionally deserving young people who are committed to their studies and want to build the future they envision, Luiss is awarding two scholarships. These are intended for students who have participated in the “Legality and Merit” Project workshops in previous years or who will participate during the 2023/2024 school year, and who are admitted to a Bachelor’s or single-cycle Master’s degree program starting in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Call for applications for five scholarships named in memory of Dr. Giannina Di Marco, LUMSA's Director General from 1996 to 2022

LUMSA, in collaboration with Luiss Guido Carli, has launched a competition to award five scholarships in memory of Dr. Giannina Di Marco, LUMSA’s General Director from 1996 to 2022. Each scholarship is valued at €3,200 and aims to promote and support the commitment and merit of students enrolled in two-year master’s degree programs during the 2023–2024 academic year.

All students who have achieved a weighted average of at least 29/30 in their previous three-year studies and a graduation grade of 110/110 with honors are eligible to apply. Students who are behind in their coursework, repeating a year, enrolled for a second degree, receiving financial aid through agreements, or already benefiting from other scholarships are not eligible.

Applications, accompanied by a brief student profile and a valid ID, must be submitted via email to b.marro@lumsa.it by April 4, 2024.

To encourage and reward the most deserving students who stand out for their commitment and success in their studies, Luiss is offering fifty merit scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The merit scholarship waives the second installment of the Single Contribution due for the 2024/2025 academic year and is not automatically renewable for subsequent years of study.

Thanks to the Enel Foundation's contribution, more scholarships are available, allowing a greater number of students to benefit from this opportunity.

Call for applications for a scholarship for students admitted to the first year of the three-year degree program in Management and Artificial Intelligence at Luiss Guido Carli in the 2024/2025 academic year who have participated in the CrackThePuzzle competition

Luiss Guido Carli will award a scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year to a student enrolled in the final year of a public or accredited private secondary school who achieves the best result among those admitted to the first year of the three-year degree program in Management and Artificial Intelligence (regardless of the date on which the entrance exam was taken, including sessions held during the 2023 Summer Schools) and who successfully completes the CrackThePuzzle 2024 competition.

The scholarship provides full exemption from the annual tuition fee for the standard duration of the program, excluding statutory fees.

To help select the most deserving students, a competition is being held to award twenty-four scholarships to students enrolling in the first year of a three-year or single-cycle degree program in the 2024/2025 academic year.

The scholarships provide partial exemptions from the annual tuition fee of €6,150, applicable to the second and third installments. Therefore, winners will be responsible for paying the first installment by the deadlines set by the University.

Regulations for granting support to unmarried student mothers or unmarried student fathers enrolled in a Bachelor’s, single-cycle Master’s, or Master’s degree program

Reducing gender asymmetries is one of Luiss Guido Carli's strategic goals. To support the right to education for students with children, the university has implemented support tools that help them manage parenthood with peace of mind in an inclusive and educational environment.

To support this process, Luiss Guido Carli not only offers the option to suspend studies for the entire academic year in the event of maternity or paternity, but also waives the third installment of the annual tuition fee for all students—unmarried mothers or unmarried fathers—enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Single-Cycle Master’s, or Master’s program who have a child 6 years of age or younger.

As part of its initiative to value excellent students, Luiss University is offering eight scholarships to students who have applied for direct admission to the first year of a master's degree program in the 2023–2024 academic year and hold a currently valid GMAT or GRE certificate.

The eight scholarships, which offer a full or partial waiver of the University’s annual tuition fee, will be awarded with priority to students who submit a GMAT certificate with a score of 710 or higher, or an equivalent GRE score converted using the attached table.

IB Honors Scholarships

Students with excellent applications who received an IB Diploma in the 2023–2024 academic year and apply for direct admission to Luiss University may be offered a full or partial tuition scholarship. There is no need to apply for the scholarship; all applicants are automatically considered. To ensure they are considered for the scholarship, students are asked to check with their counselors that IB scores will be sent to Luiss electronically via MyIB.

NIAF ITAMCAP (Italian American Citizenship Assistance Program) Legal Scholarship

Thanks to the generosity of the Italian American Citizenship Assistance Program (ITAMCAP), the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) is awarding a full-tuition scholarship to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Global Law at Luiss University, starting in September 2024. The full-tuition scholarship will be awarded to one Italian-American student to attend Luiss's three-year undergraduate program in Global Law at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome. This program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of international legal frameworks and prepares them for global careers in law and diplomacy.

Progetto Mediterraneo

In 2017, Luiss University and Fondazione Terzo Pilastro – Internazionale launched Progetto Mediterraneo, a scholarship program for disadvantaged students and refugees from the Mediterranean region.     
Progetto Mediterraneo aims to help disadvantaged students from vulnerable communities in various Mediterranean countries by giving them access to Luiss’s fully English-language Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs.     
Upon completing their programs, students possess the knowledge needed to continue their studies and the specific skills to pursue managerial positions that contribute to the economic and social development of the region and their communities.     
Through the ongoing fruitful collaboration between The Malta Trust Foundation and Fondazione Mediterraneo, two scholarships are being made available to two disadvantaged Maltese students (residing in Malta) for the Master’s Degree Programs offered at Luiss University in Rome during the 2024–2025 Academic Year, as indicated in the call for scholarships.

The Sub-Saharan Africa Project

The “Sub-Saharan Africa Project” is a Luiss University program designed for students and researchers. It aims to provide an educational opportunity to talented young people from the Sub-Saharan Africa region, enabling them to pursue bachelor's or master's degree programs in Italy through scholarships awarded by the University's partner organizations and businesses.

For the 2024/2025 academic year, thanks to the contribution of ECU - Eni Corporate University S.p.A., Luiss University is announcing two scholarships for future master's students who are citizens of a Sub-Saharan African country, with priority given to students from the following nations: Angola, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Kenya, Mozambique, and Rwanda.

This competition is open to all students from the Sub-Saharan Africa region who have been admitted, in the 2024/2025 academic year, to a master's degree program held in person at Luiss University as part of the international selection process based on qualifications by May 15, 2024.

To recognize students with exceptional merit who are admitted to a three-year degree program or a single-cycle master's degree program after passing the admission test during the Summer School Orientation 4 week, Luiss Guido Carli has established Project 9000. This program offers scholarships based on academic performance and test scores.
