SAT – Scholastic Assessment Test
The SAT is one of the world's most widely used standardised tests. Conducted in English, it is employed by universities – particularly in the United States and at many international institutions – to assess students' general preparedness and academic skills.
Administered by the US-based College Board, the exam assesses the critical thinking skills, reading comprehension, and mathematical abilities needed to succeed at university. In its current digital format, the test comprises two key sections: Reading and Writing, and Maths.
Over the coming weeks, details of the information sessions being offered to students and families in November will be published on the Luiss website. These sessions will explain the structure of the test, how to take part, and provide some useful tips for anyone interested in sitting it.
