Direct admission with Luiss certifications for the 2026/2027 academic year is for students from the European Union and the Schengen area. It offers the opportunity to directly enroll in Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle Master’s degree programs at the Luiss Undergraduate School. The process is for applicants who have, or will obtain by July 2026, a high school diploma valid for admission to Italian universities, as per ministerial requirements, and who hold one of the specified certifications: SAT, ACT, or IB.

Admission requirements with certifications
Direct admission with Luiss 2026/2027 certifications is reserved for students who are citizens of a country within the European Union or the Schengen Area. Those who will obtain a valid Italian high school diploma by July 22, 2026, are eligible to apply.
To apply, you must:
have obtained, or will obtain by July 2026, a high school diploma valid for admission to Italian universities.
For foreign qualifications, you must submit report cards from the last two school years. These must include: grades, the corresponding school years, the year of enrollment, the institution’s official stamp, and the final qualification to be obtained.
- One of the following international certifications :
- SAT with a minimum score of 1200/1600 (obtained within the last 3 years)
- ACT with a minimum score of 25/36 (obtained within the last 3 years)
- IB Diploma or predicted grade with a minimum score of 36/45
Deadlines and how to submit your application
Direct admission applications must be submitted exclusively online by March 16, 2026, via the dedicated platform available on this page.
To complete the application, you'll need to pay a non-refundable fee of 150.00 euros via the platform by March 16, 2026.
During the process, the candidate must specify the chosen degree program. The choice is binding and can only be changed until March 16, 2026.
Available Bachelor's Degree Programs
Students can choose one of the following degree programs:
- Programs taught in Italian: Economics and Management, Law, and Political Science.
- Programs taught in English: Business Administration, Economics and Business, Global Law, Management and Artificial Intelligence, and Politics: Philosophy and Economics.
Admission, reservation, and enrollment
Admission will be announced in March 2026 and will only be confirmed after the submitted documentation and the validity of the secondary school diploma for admission to Italian universities have been verified.
Admitted students must reserve their enrollment by April 22, 2026, and pay a fee of 4,700.00 euros, which is the first installment of the annual Single Contribution.
Enrollment must be finalized by July 22, 2026. If you don’t reserve your spot by the deadline, your admission will automatically expire.

Foreign educational qualifications
For foreign educational qualifications, admission also requires submitting the documents requested by the Admissions Office to verify eligibility.
It is the candidate's responsibility to verify the validity of their qualification in advance, as well as to complete any procedures related to a student visa and to meet the requirements for admission to Italian universities.
FAQ
1. Valid ID and/or passport showing citizenship
Please note that the Admissions Office will verify the citizenship requirement after the application is submitted, based on the documentation requested during the application process. Any ineligible applications will be automatically excluded.
2. One of the required certifications to participate in the selection process, namely:
- SAT certification with a minimum score of 1200/1600
Please note that your application will only be processed if the SAT certificate can be verified directly through the College Board platform. You can request that it be sent to Luiss using the identification code 7055. - ACT certification with a minimum score of 25/36
Please note that your application will only be processed if the ACT certificate can be verified directly through the ACT platform. You can request that it be sent to Luiss using the identification code 3019. - IB Diploma or predicted IB with a minimum score of 36/45
Remember that once you have obtained your final diploma, you will need to submit it from the IBO platform using the Luiss identification code: 002563.
We also remind you that if you are admitted with a predicted grade, your final IB score must meet the requirement of at least 36/45. Otherwise, even if you are admitted and subsequently reserve your enrollment, you will not be able to proceed with final enrollment.
Please note: The costs of obtaining the aforementioned certifications will be borne by the candidate.
3. For students with foreign diplomas only: report cards from the last two years of secondary school.
If you hold a diploma from a foreign system, to properly complete your admission application, you must also submit report cards from the last two years of school. These should include grades, the corresponding school year, the year of schooling, and the final qualification with its official stamp. The report cards serve only to verify the validity of the qualification and, if issued in a language other than English, French, or Italian, must be accompanied by a certified translation.
In any case, to ensure the validity of your foreign diploma, you must refer to the criteria established annually by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and defined by the University on the following page.
You can apply for admission to either the three-year Bachelor's Degree or the single-cycle Master's Degree in Law by March 16, 2026, at the latest, using the link below.
Please note that to complete your application, you'll need to pay a participation fee of 150.00 euros. This payment can be made directly online while filling out the application (in the “Actions” section). The fee paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
HELPFUL TIPS!
When filling out your application, be sure to provide an email address that you’ll have access to throughout the selection process. Keep a close eye on it, as all communications regarding your application will be sent to that email address!
You can request to modify your submitted application only until you receive the outcome and, in any case, no later than March 16, 2026, by emailing the Admissions Office (ammissione@luiss.it). Once the request is received, the Admissions Office will contact you with all the instructions you need to access the platform and edit the data yourself.
Please note: The Admissions Office may ask you to modify your application or update the attached documents, including after verification. Therefore, keep a close eye on your email!
Admission will be determined based on:
- the score on the certification submitted for the selection process, as verified on the designated platform;
- compliance with the requirements regarding the validity of the academic qualification.
To process your application correctly, the Admissions Office will verify the score and the validity of the certification directly on the certifying body’s platform. Therefore, please remember to allow Luiss to view the official score!
Selection results will be emailed in March 2026 to the address provided when submitting the application.
Please note that admission is conditional upon Luiss verifying the eligibility of your high school diploma. You can still check the eligibility criteria on your own by clicking here.
Please also note that if you are admitted based on your IB score, enrollment will be conditional on confirming that you achieved a final grade of at least 36/45.
HELPFUL ADVICE!
If the submitted documentation doesn’t meet the ministerial guidelines for the comparability of qualifications or doesn’t adhere to the document submission deadlines, enrollment will not be permitted under any circumstances, regardless of admission. For this reason, we recommend that you carefully review the requirements for your diploma here.
If you've received the admission email, you can proceed to the next step by reserving your enrollment no later than April 22, 2026. To do this, as outlined in the Competition Notice, you'll need to pay the €4,700.00 fee by logging into Luiss Web Self-service. Follow the instructions that will be available online and sent via email starting at the end of March.
Please note: The deadline for booking your enrollment, which cannot be extended, is April 22, 2026. Any request to reserve enrollment received after these deadlines, as specified in the Competition Notice, will not be considered.
Under no circumstances will it be possible to finalize the enrollment reservation after the deadline, even by paying a penalty.
Finally, we remind you that after reserving your enrollment and obtaining your high school diploma, you must complete your enrollment no later than July 22, 2026.

The Single Contribution for all Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs in Law for the 2026/2027 academic year is 14,000 euros.
Only those who have successfully reserved their enrollment (by April 22, 2026) and have obtained a high school diploma will be able to finalize their enrollment by July 22, 2026, at the latest.
