Ability Garden Space at Luiss
Following the memorandum of understanding signed with Ability Garden (AG), the first Ability Garden Space was inaugurated at the University.
In response to Goals 4, 8, and 10 of the UN 2030 Agenda, Ability Garden is a social innovation project created to facilitate the employment inclusion and vocational guidance of young people with disabilities, allowing their skills and aptitudes to shine.
The project unfolds over the course of a year.
The participants are young people who have completed upper secondary school or are in their final year and who underwent interviews at the Viale Pola Campus in February 2024.
Subsequently, the orientation phase began, which featured multidisciplinary activities that brought out the skills of the young men and women. Following the completion of this phase in June, Ability Garden then proceeded with the assessment of suitable professions and on-the-job training.
The program is expected to conclude at the end of the year with participants being matched with partner companies.
