VQR – Research Quality Assessment

In the Research Quality Assessment (VQR) for the years 2020–2024, the case study “Luiss’s contribution to the 2030 Agenda: evolution of sustainability governance and initiatives to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals” was rated “Excellent (B)”, helping the university secure 2nd place in Italy among all state and non-state universities for the quality of its Third Mission (indicator R4). 

The case study illustrates how the University has integrated the principles of the UN 2030 Agenda into its governance, teaching, research, and Third Mission activities. Since 2019, Luiss has developed an integrated sustainability model by establishing dedicated academic roles and structures, making sustainability a structural element of the University’s activities.
