Digital Skills
To navigate and act consciously within the digital ecosystem, you need to acquire or strengthen a foundational set of digital skills.
This section aims to outline the various opportunities the University offers to all Luiss students, which are considered valuable for enhancing their digital skills.

In the ICDL section, you can find information about the Test Center's activities related to certification and related activities, such as video courses or mock exam sessions. These are useful for undergraduate students to meet the prerequisite for the computer science exam as an alternative to the official certification.

The LOFT (Laboratory of Fabulous Things) section describes all the activities organized in this space, located on the top floor of the Viale Romania 32 campus. It's an innovative lab, a space dedicated to technology, design, and digital production, open to all university stakeholders. The LOFT includes a lab with co-working spaces, a coding area, a photography studio, a video editing area, a tech cinema, and a silent music studio. Students have access to 11 iMacs and all the equipment needed to produce professional videos and photos, musical instruments for rehearsing and recording music, as well as 3D printers and various Arduino and Raspberry PI kits.
-
The Digital Gym section lists courses and their syllabi on the use of specific software applications (such as advanced Excel or MatLab courses) that are often used in the laboratory portion of some institutional courses. The courses typically consist of 5 or 6 lessons (one per week) and are offered during a specific semester.
