Luiss Library: your hub for research and study

Biblioteca Luiss: il tuo hub per la ricerca e lo studio

Connettere saperi e orientare nella trasformazione digitale.

We inhabit a space with a unique cultural value. Located at Via di Santa Costanza 53, just a short walk from the renowned Mausoleum built by the daughter of Emperor Constantine I, our Library blends the prestige of Rome’s historical heritage with modern, state-of-the-art study spaces.

The facility offers approximately 2,000 square meters of multifunctional, sustainable, and inclusive space, fully covered by Wi-Fi and equipped with a tactile walking path and tactile maps to ensure maximum accessibility. The spaces, featuring over 300 study stations, are organized to meet every need:

  • 5 rooms: Monographs, Periodicals, Economics, Law, and Political Science.
  • 3 rooms for group work: spaces that can be reserved for collaborative activities.
  • Luiss University Press Readers' Lounge: a dedicated area for the university’s publishing house’s publications and latest releases.
  • Outdoor areas: a garden and courtyard with equipped reading stations and a refreshment area.

The Library's rooms are equipped with computer stations, scanners, tablets, interactive whiteboards, self-checkout stations, and a video magnifier with text-to-speech and text recognition features. Additionally, two automated drop-off stations for returning library items are located on the Luiss campuses in Viale Romania and Via Parenzo.

At Luiss, knowledge is dynamic, open, and accessible. Our library collection spans all scientific and disciplinary fields of the university's teaching and research through an integrated catalog of print books and journals, complemented by a vast collection of e-bookse-journals, and specialized databases.

Through our institutional archives, we preserve and make accessible the University’s scientific output, amplifying its impact, visibility, and dissemination.

Guidance and assistance with literature research, loans, interlibrary services, inclusion services, and dedicated rooms for group work.

Textbooks, paper resources, and electronic resources are available on-site and remotely.

Access to the Library’s spaces and services is reserved exclusively for the Luiss Community: students, faculty, technical and administrative staff, and the Luiss Alumni Network, by appointment.
