Luiss Reading Club
The Luiss Reading Club is a shared reading initiative promoted by Luiss Culture & Identity Development, dedicated to the university community and the local area.
Through a selection of contemporary fiction, the initiative provides a space for dialogue and discussion to explore themes related to identity, relationships, emotional vulnerability, generational unrest, the search for authenticity, and social change.
The meetings feature authors, editors, and guests from the contemporary cultural scene, with the aim of encouraging active participation, critical thinking, and the sharing of diverse perspectives.
The programme
The Reading Club holds regular meetings, designed as opportunities for in-depth discussion and exchange based on the selected books.
Each event invites participants to read, interpret, and discuss the works on the Programme, connecting the personal dimension of reading with the cultural, social, and generational questions of the present.
Who it's for
The course is open to the Luiss community and the local area. It's aimed at students, alumni, faculty, staff, and anyone interested in reading as a shared experience of cultural growth and participation.
