Music Workshop, 2019–2020 Academic Year

Musicisti Luiss

The Music Workshop, an initiative for students passionate about music and conducted in partnership with the Luiss Polyphonic Choir, is once again scheduled for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The roles and their respective prerequisites for student selection are as follows:

  • Instrumentalists with at least a lower-level diploma from a conservatory,
  • Pianists who have graduated from a conservatory of music or have at least a lower-level diploma in Composition from a conservatory,
  • Choir conductors who will later also serve as assistant conductors in the Luiss Polyphonic Choir, with at least a lower or intermediate level of training in Composition.

The Workshop is led by Maestro Fabrizio Adriano Neri, who is an orchestra conductorbaritone, and composer.

The repertoire covered during the sessions spans various musical genres, from musicals to the soundtracks of great films, pop, and opera.

The sessions take place on Monday evenings in room 12 at the Viale Pola campus, from approximately 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Anyone interested—including students, faculty, staff, and Luiss administrative personnel—can attend one of the sessions with Maestro Neri for an audition.
