The FREE PREVENTIVE MEDICINE SERVICE, reserved for tenured faculty and administrative staff, is designed to assess their health status and is available free of charge at the following affiliated center:

• Laboratorio CGH – Compagnie Générale des Hopitaux at Via Nomentana no. 173  – Tel. 06.44252747 — during the following hours: Monday to Saturday, 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with no need for an appointment.

You can use the service once a year by going directly to the laboratory.

The free service includes:

• the following tests: complete blood count with differential, blood urea nitrogen, blood glucose, urinalysis, ESR, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, blood uric acid, serum iron, sodium, potassium, total protein, AST, ALT, creatinine, total and fractionated bilirubin, gamma-GT, TSH, and ferritin (for female students only). Please arrive in the morning on an empty stomach and provide a urine sample in a sterile container.
• the following tests can also be performed: PSA and a Pap test or a vaginal swab with an antibiogram;
• a resting electrocardiogram, which can be scheduled by calling the phone numbers listed above.

Any additional tests not listed above can be requested directly from the testing center before the sample is taken, at Luiss-affiliated rates.
