Instructions for students

Students who wish to access the wireless network must have a network account issued by the University (the same one used to access the PCs in the computer labs). To connect with a laptop, tablet, or smartphone (that supports wireless networking), simply follow these instructions:

To access the wireless network, enter your first name.last name followed by “@studenti.luiss.it” as your UserID.  For example: nome.cognome@studenti.luiss.it
  • Make sure you have enabled Wi-Fi on your device;
  • Select the wireless network named “LUISS” or “LUISSwpa”
    The two wireless networks (LUISS and LUISSwpa) work the same way, with the difference being that the LUISSwpa network allows you to save your login credentials.

If you're using the “LUISS” wireless network, you must log out before turning off your device.

The configuration steps for the two wireless networks (LUISS and LUISSwpa) across all device types are detailed in the attached documents:

Guests

The LUISSguest Wi-Fi network covers all areas of the LUISS campuses. It's an open network accessible to everyone through authentication on a web portal, using credentials based on an Italian cell phone number and a code sent via SMS. Once generated, the credentials are valid for 24 hours.
The privacy policy and terms of use are available on the login page.
