Admission Test for Luiss Students
On this page, you can find the requirements and procedures for admission to Luiss Master’s Degree Programs for the 2026/2027 academic year via the Luiss Admission Test, which is intended for students enrolled at or graduates of Luiss Guido Carli.
The test is the primary route to master’s programs for those who don’t meet the requirements for direct admission and wish to continue their studies in an academic environment of excellence, with programs offered in both Italian and English.

Master's Degree Programs Available
You can specify up to two master's degree programs within the same subject area (Economics or Political Science), choosing from the following options:

The choices made and their order of preference are binding for the purposes of creating the ranking.
Test Language
The Luiss Admission Test is available in Italian or English, reflecting the international scope of the university’s educational offerings. The language you select determines which courses you can apply for.
- If you choose to take the Test in Italian, you will only be able to apply for courses taught in Italian;
- If you choose to take the Test in English, you will be able to apply for courses in both Italian and English.
Admission requirements and documentation
Candidates who meet the following requirements are eligible to take the Luiss Admission Test:
- Luiss students or graduates in a three-year degree program who do not meet the requirements for direct admission;
- Students enrolled in a Luiss First-Level Master's program who have earned a bachelor's degree from another university and who:
- do not meet the minimum curricular requirements for admission to Luiss master’s programs; and/or
- have not achieved the weighted average required for direct admission by February 2026.
Required documentation:
- Passport or identity card showing citizenship;
- Your Luiss student ID number;
- (if applicable) Certification for the First-Level Master's program.

How to register for the Luiss Admission Test
You can register for the Admission Test through April 9, 2026, by filling out the online form available on this page.
The mandatory, non-refundable participation fee is €150.00.
You can change the information you've entered and the courses you've selected up until April 9, 2026, by emailing ammissione@luiss.it.
After this date, the application can no longer be modified.
Assessment methods and results
Rankings will be prepared for each first-choice course, in order of score expressed in hundredths. The Committee will set a minimum admission threshold, which will vary by course or specialization.
If there are still spots available, the Committee may also consider second choices.
There is an additional score for students who have taken the Graduate Summer School 2025 Admission Test.
The results will be published starting in May 2026 in a dedicated, reserved area on the Luiss website.
After admission: enrollment and contributions
Admitted students must:
- Register for the program by June 15, 2026, and pay the first installment of the annual fee of €5,000.00.
- Once you have completed your bachelor's degree, upload the required documents to the Self-Service web portal by November 9, 2026.
Admission will only become final after the uploaded documentation has been verified.

The test will be held online and remotely from April 13 to 16, 2026.
Applications are required from Luiss graduates or undergraduate students in three-year programs who do not meet the direct admission requirements, as well as from students in Luiss First-Level Master's programs who come from other universities and do not meet the required curriculum or grade point average criteria.
