The test is the primary way for international students to enroll in Luiss master’s programs, allowing them to continue their studies in an excellent academic environment with programs offered in both Italian and English. For the 2026/2027 academic year, Luiss Guido Carli is organizing a single session of the Admission Test for Master’s Degree Programs for students from outside the EU and the Schengen Area. The test will be held online and remotely on March 19 and 20, 2026. This test is for international students (those not from the European Union or the Schengen Area) who have graduated or will graduate by November 9, 2026, from a bachelor’s degree program that allows them to enroll in a master’s degree program in Italy.
Exceptions apply to the Master's Degree programs in Finance and Management, which have specific selection procedures.

The admissions process for Luiss Master’s degree programmes involves a series of stages, each with specific deadlines. You can specify up to two master's degree programs within the same subject area—Economics or Political Science—by choosing from the following programs:

Test Language
Luiss offers the option to take the Admission Test in either Italian or English, promoting access to an international and multilingual education.
If you choose to take the test in Italian, you will only be able to apply for courses taught in Italian.
If you choose to take the test in English, you can apply for courses in both Italian and English.
Admission requirements and documentation
Candidates who meet the following requirements are eligible to take the test:
- Non-EU or non-Schengen citizenship
- A bachelor's degree (or current enrollment with graduation by November 9, 2026)
- Required documentation:
- Passport or identity card showing citizenship
- Certificate of enrollment or graduation (transcript of records) with a list of exams, credits (CFU), field of study (SSD), and degree class

How to register for the Luiss Admission Test
- Fill out the online form available on this page by March 16, 2026.
- Pay the participation fee of €150.00.
You can change the information you've entered or the courses you've selected until March 16, 2026, by emailing ammissione@luiss.it. After that date, you will no longer be able to modify your application.
Assessment methods and results
Rankings will be compiled for each first-choice course based on the test score (expressed in hundredths). The Committee will set a minimum admission threshold, which will vary for each course or specialization.
If there are still spots available, the Committee may also consider second choices.
There is an additional score for those who took the Graduate Summer School 2025 Admission Test (see the official announcement for more details).
The results will be available starting in April 2026 in a dedicated, reserved area on the Luiss website.
After admission: enrollment and contributions
Admitted students must:
- Register for attendance by April 22, 2026, and pay the first installment of the annual single fee of €5,000.00.
- Subsequently, once the bachelor's degree has been obtained, upload the required documents to the Self-Service web portal by November 9, 2026.
Only after this verification will admission become final.

Citizens from outside the European Union or the Schengen Area who have obtained (or will obtain by November 9, 2026) a valid bachelor’s degree allowing them to enroll in an Italian master’s program are eligible to participate.
For foreign credentials, enrollment is subject to verification of the credential’s eligibility by the Admissions Office. It is the candidate's responsibility to verify its validity and to follow any procedures related to a student visa.
The results will be published starting in April 2026 in a reserved area of the Luiss website.
You must complete your registration by April 22, 2026, and then upload the required documents after completing your bachelor’s degree.
The one-time annual fee for Master's Degree programs is 15,000.00 euros, payable in three installments. The first installment is due on April 22, 2026, with the second and third installments due in November 2026 and February 2027, respectively.
