Luiss Orientation Survey

Luiss Orientation Survey

Orientation Survey

The “Why would I choose Luiss?” survey was conducted among participants in the orientation activities provided by Luiss as part of the information campaign for the 2021/2022 academic year, covering Bachelor’s, Single-Cycle, and Master’s degree programs.

Key findings:

• The university’s prestige (70%; +22% compared to last year), its international environment (61%; +17% compared to last year), and the prospect of finding a job more easily (61%; +6% compared to last year) are the main reasons that drive high school students to consider Luiss.

• For university students, the main draw of the Luiss Master’s degree is the belief that a degree from the university can offer better earning and career opportunities (71%; +10% compared to last year) and make it easier to find a job (57%; +6% compared to last year).

• When selecting universities for Bachelor's and Master's programs, 61% of high school students and 70% of university students consulted university rankings, respectively.

• Students primarily learn about Luiss's undergraduate orientation activities through family and friends (64%) and the web (51%). Next are the school channel (28%) and social media (26%). The Luiss website (46%) and, again, acquaintances (39%) are the most effective sources of information about master's degree orientation programs.

• The average score given to the organization of the various orientation activities, for both master’s and bachelor’s programs, was 3.4 on a satisfaction scale ranging from 1 (very negative) to 4 (very positive).
