Art for students under 35, 2015–2016 academic year
The new edition of the Art Workshop is kicking off. Under the guidance of gallery owner Carlo Maria Lolli Ghetti, students will explore the techniques and languages of contemporary art by analyzing artistic movements, curatorial principles, and the basic elements of exhibition design.
The Workshop aims to introduce LUISS students to contemporary artists, helping them develop their ability to read and understand art. Just like in the previous edition, theory will be put into practice by selecting a specific theme and the international artists under 35 who best express it.
Two exhibition pathways will be developed around the chosen theme, with the students serving as both creators and curators.
At the same time, participants will work on crafting critical texts for the exhibitions, which will then be compiled into a collective catalog.
Students who are interested in participating and can commit to regular attendance at both the meetings and the exhibition set-up can send their application, along with a brief statement of their motivation, to attivitaculturali@luiss.it.
