Unique University Credentials
Luiss Guido Carli University has developed a unique university authentication system for accessing IT services. Your unique university credentials consist of a user ID (userID or username) and a password.
Remote exams
To take exams, you need to download the Keyless app to your smartphone (from the Apple Store or Google Play Store) and install Webex Teams on your computer.
How to properly set up the Keyless app:
- Download the “Keyless Authenticator” app and register your face.(Video tutorial available here)
- Connect Keyless to your Luiss account. Simply scan the QR code available at this link after logging in with your Luiss credentials: https://luiss-registration.keyless.io/ (Video tutorial available here)
- To verify that authentication is working, open the pagehttps://luiss.webex.com, click the “Sign In” button in the top right corner, and enter your Luiss credentials. Once you’re done, you’ll receive a notification on your smartphone that will enable you to authenticate. (Video tutorial available here)

University Reserved Area
The University's Reserved Area provides secure, instant access to a full range of services designed to simplify administrative procedures and offer new ways to communicate and work.
Access is reserved for all users with unique University credentials, specifically:
- all University staff (faculty, managers, technical-administrative staff, librarians, and language service providers)
- adjunct professors
- all students
- all individuals temporarily authorized through a collaboration for institutional purposes
Web Self-Service
You can access the following services through the University's Web Self Service:
- viewing and updating residence/contact details,
- viewing payments made or pending,
- viewing and printing self-declaration forms,
- viewing and completing the study plan,
- viewing your academic record and transcript (exams passed/to be taken),
- viewing available exam sessions,
- registering for exams (up to 5 days before the exam session),
- browsing international mobility opportunities.
To access the service, you need to enter your USER ID (student ID number) and password (PIN).
For security reasons, it is recommended that you properly close your session when you have finished.
Luiss WEBmail
The mailbox will always be used for all communications to and from the University.
LUISS App
The new version of the LUISS App is now available. It's designed to make the learning and training experience for students easier by simplifying access to the services offered.
The app's redesign, which was partly inspired by community feedback, makes navigation quick and easy. In particular, the new menu provides direct access to your personalized calendar, all services, news and events, and your campus access badge.
The app includes the following sections:
- Class schedule: to view the academic calendar and receive personalized information;
- Classrooms: to check course locations and times;
- Study rooms: to find out which rooms are reserved for studying;
- Badge: to have your digital badge always at hand;
- Transcript: for a complete overview of exams passed and those still to be taken;
- Green Mobility: to rent LUISS electric cars;
- News and events: to stay updated on news, announcements, and events from the University and its Departments.
The app lets students access their university information at any time, with complete privacy, and better organize their days.
Class schedule
The class schedule, by course or by instructor, and the availability of classrooms across the various university campuses. For more information on schedules and classrooms, please contact the academic offices or the tutors of the Schools.

University WIRELESS
Students who want to access the wireless network must have a network account issued by the University (the same one used to access the PCs in the computer labs). To connect with a laptop, tablet, or smartphone (with wireless network support)
MATLAB
MatrixLaboratory is a computational environment designed to handle matrix-type objects. The University holds a Total Academic Headcount (TAH) license, which provides university-wide access to MATLAB, Simulink, and various additional products. All students can use MATLAB on their personal computers or laptops.
Digital Documents (University Libraries)
The University Library System provides a search engine for finding digital documents. The service is public within the university network, but credentials are required from outside the network.
Teaching evaluation
Survey of the opinions of students (both in-person and distance learning), graduating students, graduates, and faculty regarding teaching and related support services.
