Se.I. Tu.! – Tutor Support Inclusion Service

Se.I. Tu.! – The Luiss Tutoring Inclusion Service welcomes and supports students throughout their university journey, fostering an accessible, inclusive, and diversity-respecting learning environment.

The service draws on specialised university tutors who are experts in inclusive teaching and is aimed in particular at students with disabilities, specific learning disorders (SpLDs), and special educational needs (SEN).

Se.I. Tu.! provides specialised, personalised tutoring aimed at fostering active participation in academic life, developing independent study skills, and enhancing the learning environment. Interventions are tailored to individual needs and may include compensatory or dispensatory measures, services, and tools.

The service's main activities include:

• welcoming students and assessing their individual needs;
• information and administrative support for accessing the services offered by the University;
• support throughout the university journey;
• support in building a network of relationships with teaching staff, other staff, and the student community;
• raising awareness within the university community on issues of inclusion;
• liaison with the Library’s accessibility and inclusion services, to facilitate access to bibliographic resources, tools, and services dedicated to students with disabilities, Specific Learning Disorders (SLDs), and Special Educational Needs (SENs);
• overseeing the implementation of the services and tools agreed upon in the agreement signed with the student.

Students with disabilities, Specific Learning Disorders (SLDs), or special educational needs who have passed the entrance exam and wish to make use of the University’s services can sign a dedicated agreement, specifying the measures and tools they require.

There is also a dedicated helpdesk for welcoming and providing guidance to students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLDs), disabilities, and Special Educational Needs (SEN), as well as to their families. The helpdesk provides information about the services and opportunities available at Luiss and helps identify the most suitable solutions for different needs.

Se.I. Tu.! also offers a service for all students at the University who wish to improve their study methods. Through practical tips and personalised strategies, the service supports the various stages of learning, from organising time and activities to revision.
