Se.I. Tu.! – Tutoring Inclusion Service

Se.I. Tu.! – The Luiss Tutor Inclusion Service welcomes and supports students throughout their university journey, fostering an accessible and inclusive learning environment that respects individual differences.

The service employs specialised university tutors and experts in inclusive teaching, and is aimed in particular at students with disabilities, specific learning disorders (SLD), and special educational needs (SEN).

Se.I. Tu.! offers specialised and personalised tutoring, aimed at encouraging active participation in academic life, developing independent study skills, and improving the learning environment. Interventions are tailored to individual needs and may include compensatory or dispensatory measures, services, and tools.

The service's main activities include:

  • welcoming students and assessing their individual needs;
  • providing information and administrative support to access the services offered by the University;
  • guidance throughout the university journey;
  • support in building a network of relationships with lecturers, staff, and the student community;
  • raising awareness within the university community about inclusion issues;
  • overseeing the implementation of the services and tools agreed upon in the agreement signed with the student.

Students with disabilities, learning difficulties, or specific educational needs who have passed the admission test and wish to use the University’s services can sign a dedicated agreement, specifying the measures and tools they require.

There is also a dedicated help desk to welcome and guide students with learning difficulties, disabilities, and special educational needs, as well as their families. The help desk provides information on the services and opportunities available at Luiss and helps identify the most suitable solutions for different needs.

Se.I. Tu.! also offers a service for all university students who want to improve their study methods. Through practical tips and personalised strategies, the service supports the various stages of learning, from organising time and activities to revising.
