Summer School Abroad

For all students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master's or single-cycle Degree courses, Summer Schools abroad are a great way to consolidate the knowledge acquired during the academic year. Spending a summer in a foreign country allows you to get to know new cultures and improve your language skills.

Moreover, Luiss gives students the opportunity to obtain recognition of credits earned abroad within their Luiss curriculum.

Upon passing the exam taken abroad during the Summer School, in accordance with the procedures set out in the regulations, one of the following activities will be recorded in the student’s academic record:

1. An elective course included in the student’s Degree Programme, which is mandatory for the purpose of obtaining the degree.
2. A free additional course (corso libero) awarding extra credits that are not mandatory for the purpose of obtaining the degree.
3. Credits for “other activities” in accordance with the procedures established by the competent academic area of study.
