Admission to Bachelor's and Single-Cycle Degree programmes with Certifications for non-EU students

Find out about the requirements, recognised certifications, and key deadlines for direct admission to Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle Master’s Degrees for the 2027/2028 academic year.

Admission via certification is one of the ways to access the three-year and single-cycle Master's degree courses in Law for candidates who are nationals of a country outside the EU or the Schengen area.

Initial information on how to apply, the requirements, and the selection timetable for the 2027/2028 academic year is already available. The full admission notice will be published on this page from October 2026.

Admission requirements for the 2027/2028 academic year

Students with non-EU or non-Schengen citizenship who hold, or will obtain by the specified deadlines, a secondary school diploma valid for admission to Italian universities are eligible to apply.

To take part in the selection process, you must submit:

  • a valid identity document or passport;
  • the documentation required to verify the educational qualification;
  • school report cards;
  • one of the following certifications:

How the selection process works

The Commission assesses applications, taking into account:

  • the certification submitted;
  • the documentation attached to the application;
  • any assessment interview.

The selection results will be communicated in accordance with the methods and schedule outlined in the Admission Notice.

Foreign qualifications

For qualifications awarded under foreign regulations, admission is subject to submission of the documentation requested by the Admissions Office, which is necessary to verify eligibility in accordance with current Italian legislation.

If the documentation is not compliant or is not submitted within the specified timeframe, enrolment cannot be finalised, even if the candidate has been previously admitted. It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure their diploma is valid for admission to Italian universities and, if necessary, to obtain a study visa.

Results and enrollment

The results will be published according to the schedule for the admission session.

If you applied for admission for the 2026/2027 academic year and received an offer, please complete the enrollment process by 22 July 2026.

Applications must be submitted online via the dedicated platform, indicating the chosen degree course and attaching the required documentation. To complete the process, you must pay a non-refundable participation fee of 150 euros.

No. You must specify only one degree programme when applying. This choice is binding for admission and subsequent enrollment.

Yes. You can request changes to your application within the timeframe specified in the Admission Notice by emailing ammissione@luiss.it. Once this deadline has passed, the application can no longer be modified.

Certifications must be submitted and made verifiable in accordance with the procedures set by the respective certifying bodies. The operating instructions for submitting and verifying certifications will be available when applications open.

Once you have obtained your final diploma, you will need to submit it according to the specified procedures and deadlines.
