Graduation score bonus for International Programs - Regulations valid for International Programs starting from the 2016-2017 academic year

Rules applicable to students enrolled by the 2018-2019 academic year

The following rules apply to:

  • students enrolled in three-year degree programs who registered from the 2009–2010 academic year through the 2018–2019 academic year;
  • students enrolled in master's degree programs from the 2010–2011 academic year through the 2018–2019 academic year;
  • students enrolled in the single-cycle master's degree program in Law from the 2008–2009 academic year through the 2018–2019 academic year.

Students who, starting from the 2016-2017 academic year, participate in an Erasmus program, other types of International Programs sponsored by Luiss, or any type of Double Degree or Structured Partnership, will be entitled to:

  • 1 additional BONUS POINT toward the degree score for students who participate in International Exchange programs (Erasmus+, Free Mover, and bilateral exchange) or in Structured Partnerships recognized by Luiss Guido Carli, and who have had at least two exams recognized with a grade out of thirty (excluding elective or language courses).                                                                                                                                                 Please note that participation in the ENGAGE.EU Exchange Online project and the recognition of exams within this program do not result in the award of additional bonus points to the degree score.
  • 1.5 additional BONUS POINTS toward the degree score for students participating in a Double Degrees Program (including an LLM Educational Program) or QTEM. The bonus will only be awarded if the program is completed and the student obtains the dual degree or certificate. Only in cases of genuine and documented force majeure, where the student is unable to complete the program and obtain the degree/certificate, will 1 bonus point be awarded, subject to the condition outlined in the previous point. 

Please note that under no circumstances can bonuses be combined with each other or with the bonus for a summer school abroad. In the event of exclusion from the mobility program or penalties related to academic misconduct or failure to comply with the host universities' rules of conduct, no bonus will be awarded.

Rules applicable to students enrolled starting from the 2019-2020 academic year

All students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and single-cycle Master’s degree programs starting in the 2019/2020 academic year who participate in mobility projects will be eligible for:

  • An additional 0.5 BONUS POINT to the degree score is awarded to students who participate in International Exchange Programs (Erasmus+, Free Mover, and bilateral exchange) or in Structured Partnerships recognized by Luiss Guido Carli, and who have had at least two course exams recognized with a grade out of thirty (excluding elective or language courses). Please note that participation in the ENGAGE.EU Exchange Online project and the recognition of exams within this program do not result in the award of additional bonus points to the degree score.
  • 1 additional BONUS POINT on the degree score for students participating in a Double Degrees Program (including an LLM Educational Program) or QTEM. The bonus will only be awarded if the program is completed and the student obtains the dual degree or certificate. The 0.5 bonus point will be awarded only in cases of genuine and documented force majeure, where the student is unable to complete the program and obtain the degree/certificate, in accordance with the conditions outlined in the previous point.  

Please note that under no circumstances can bonuses be combined with each other or with the bonus for a summer school abroad. If a student is excluded from the mobility program or faces penalties due to academic misconduct or failure to comply with the host universities' rules of conduct, no bonus will be awarded.
